# ImagingArc — Heart 3D Anatomy: Source, Licence and Adaptations

## Original anatomical data

The anatomical geometry used in the ImagingArc Heart 3D educational experience is derived from **BodyParts3D Release 4.0**, using selected models from the PART-OF tree polygon mesh archive.

## ImagingArc adaptations

ImagingArc has adapted selected BodyParts3D anatomical geometry for interactive educational presentation.

Adaptation work includes:

- Selection and organization of heart-related anatomical models.
- Blender scene preparation and visual presentation.
- Educational material and colour assignments.
- Camera, lighting and staged viewing arrangements.
- Export and presentation through interactive GLB models.
- Additional conceptual teaching-plane elements in the RELATE experience.
- Creation of the associated Blender-rendered Heart poster using the adapted anatomical scene.

These changes are part of the ImagingArc educational presentation and are not represented as the original unmodified BodyParts3D dataset.

## Covered Heart 3D presentations

This notice applies to the BodyParts3D-derived anatomical material used in these ImagingArc Heart 3D assets:

1. `IA_HEART_SEE_GLTF_TEST_v02.glb`
2. `IA_HEART_RIGHT_FLOW_GLTF_TEST_v01.glb`
3. `IA_HEART_LEFT_FLOW_GLTF_TEST_v01.glb`
4. `IA_HEART_REVEAL_GLTF_TEST_v01.glb`
5. `IA_HEART_RELATE_GLTF_TEST_v01.glb`

The guided experience contains six teaching steps. Orientation and Free Explore reuse the SEE model.

The RIGHT and LEFT views are conceptual educational visualizations, not real-time physiological simulations. RELATE is a conceptual spatial-relationship view, not a validated clinical CT or MRI plane.

This notice also identifies the BodyParts3D-derived anatomical source used for the Blender-rendered Heart poster presented by ImagingArc.

## Rights and reuse

The underlying BodyParts3D material remains subject to its applicable CC BY 4.0 licence. Recipients retain the rights granted by that licence, including permitted sharing and adaptation when its conditions are followed.

ImagingArc's website software, educational writing, branding and independently created presentation elements are not automatically licensed under CC BY 4.0 merely because BodyParts3D anatomical data is included.

No additional legal terms or effective technological measures may be imposed on CC BY 4.0 licensed material where doing so would restrict recipients from exercising rights granted by that licence.

## Attribution and endorsement

The BodyParts3D creators and licensors are credited as the source of the anatomical data.

This attribution does not imply that the Database Center for Life Science, the BodyParts3D project or its contributors endorse, sponsor, validate or certify ImagingArc or its educational content.

## Educational limitations

The Heart 3D presentation is intended for conceptual imaging education.

Colours, presentation arrangements and teaching overlays are educational visualization choices. They must not be interpreted as validated biological colouring, patient-specific anatomy or independent clinical evidence.

The experience is not a validated clinical reconstruction, real-time physiological simulation or diagnostic interpretation tool.

The experience does not provide medical diagnosis, professional qualification or a guarantee of clinical competence.

## Licence history and source records

Historical source materials may contain licence notices from earlier BodyParts3D releases. Those records are preserved as provenance and do not replace the publisher's currently published Release 4.0 licence statement.

Any unresolved provenance or third-party material must be assessed separately before claiming rights beyond those supported by the verified source documentation.
