ImagingArc Challenge

CT Technical Reasoning

One case. Four linked decisions.

A guided CT reasoning experience built to move beyond recall and connect protocol knowledge with visual, technical, and practical decision-making.

ImagingArc Challenges are educational reasoning exercises. They are not certification or independent clinical competency assessments.

First Challenge

CT Isocenter / Patient Centering

The experience is designed around a sequence of connected decisions rather than a single recall question.

Scanner, software, AEC/localizer behaviour, and repositioning workflow may vary by system and local protocol.

Reasoning Progression

Progress through the problem one decision at a time.

Each stage builds on the previous one so the learner moves from noticing the problem to understanding the mechanism and choosing an appropriate next action.

Stage 1 of 4

Curiosity

Start by noticing what the selected protocol does not solve by itself.

Reasoning Feedback

Correct protocol selection does not remove the importance of patient centering.

This is an educational CT reasoning exercise, not certification or an independent competency assessment.

Learning Direction

Protocol following is the starting point. Reasoning is the destination.
